Full course description
One of the central goals of early intervention is to build the capacity of families to meet the needs of their children and enhance their children's development. Course objectives: Define family-centered practices in early intervention; Identify two components of family-centered practices; Identify eight characteristics of practitioners who use family-centered practices; Recognize the importance of building a positive relationship with families; And, recognize the importance of cultural awareness and sensitivity.
